En esta línea Sánchez manifestó su disconformidad al respecto «lo ocurrido ayer es un caso de patoterismo partidario evidente, en donde se ha visto que se convoque a una reunión y se tome una decisión tan importante sin haberla consultado con el presidente del partido ni con la totalidad de los consejeros» agregando «esto fue un error político, de esos que profundizan una grieta y llevan a generar diferencias irreconciliables entre compañeros».
También hizo hincapié en que existen pasos y mecanismos formales a seguir antes de anunciar una decisión de este estilo «primeramente se debe convocar al presidente y a todos los consejeros que forman parte del mismo, en caso de no poder asistir el presidente debe dejarse constancia de ello y ahí sí proseguir pero con aval de todos» por lo que agregó «basta con una sola opinión disidente para dar por tierra esto».
Para finalizar comentó que de no llegar a un acuerdo se recurrirá a la Justicia quién es quién en última instancia tomará la decisión dentro de las formas y marcos legales para el caso «seguramente se recurrirá a la Justicia Electoral que es quien tiene en su poder deliberar dentro de las formas que partido debe llevar la bandera del PJ» agregando «el equipo de Peppo seguramente será el que va a actuar para invalidar tamaño acto».
