Desde el Gobierno Provincial se sostiene el acompañamiento a pequeños productores algodoneros para la campaña 19/20.
El gobernador Domingo Peppo se reunió este miércoles con el subsecretario de Algodón Omar Farana, con quien ultimó detalles para el lanzamiento del Plan Algodonero Provincial, que se realizará este jueves en Castelli. “Continuamos acompañando a los pequeños productores para potenciar un cultivo emblema del Chaco”, expresó el mandatario chaqueño, al indicar que a nivel provincial se estima una siembra de cerca de 200 mil hectáreas
A través del Plan Algodonero, el Gobierno Provincial entregará 20 mil bolsas de semilla de primera calidad y fiscalizada correspondiente a la firma Gensus. Además otorgará combustible por un total de 22 millones de pesos. “El total de la operatoria asciende a 80 millones de pesos, y alcanzará a unos 955 pequeños productores del Chaco”, detalló Peppo, al tiempo que indicó que la intención de siembra de estos pequeños productores es de alrededor de 70 mil hectáreas.
Por su parte, Farana destacó la decisión del gobernador Domingo Peppo de dar continuidad al apoyo del Gobierno a los pequeños productores, ante el inicio de la campaña algodonera 9/20. Indicó que el programa algodonero provincial incluye a productores que cuentan con 10 a 100 hectáreas y que el tope máximo por productor es de 33 bolsas de semilla y 500 litros de gasoil. Asimismo, desde el Ministerio de Producción se realiza el acompañamiento técnico correspondiente.
