El 12 de agosto de 1949 Eva recibe en Casa de Gobierno a una delegación de Tucumán, y empresarios del sector azucarero. La visita reúne tanto a autoridades del gobierno tucumano como así también a dirigentes del Partido Peronista de aquella provincia.
En la oportunidad Eva brinda junto a su fundación un beneficio destinado a los trabajadores del obraje azucarero.
